There doesn't seem to be any GeoIP checks used in deciding whether you get delivered the censored or uncensored version. Ordinarily there would also be another geolocation check that Steam performs on your payment source (credit card billing address etc), but as L4D2 is currently free, you don't have to worry about that at the moment.
